Events: 2018 London Coffee Festival
Its the 8th year for London Coffee Festival. It has grown from a local event, to a world class must-go of today. Since 2016, it has over 30,000 visitors from over the globe participating, brewing tonnes of coffee and joining the competitions and workshops.
The first 2 days the festival is exclusively reserved for professionals and industry peeps. After that, the public comes in for the weekend and get to try the premium brews, food truck, music and get to watch the Latte Art Throwdown and Coffee Masters competition up close. Aga Rojewska won it and earned herself 5000 Pounds!!!!!
Compared to coffee trade shows, the London Coffee Festival is more like a carnival for coffee. Its genuine fun for people who get to enjoy and witness the next wave of specialty coffee.
Loveramics showcases our Brewers' jugs and tasting cups at stand G25, which was in a prime location to meet with coffee lovers around the world.
An interesting place at the show is the Hasbean Pop Up Shop. The World Barista Champion of 2018, Dale Harris was there and we spot the customised Loveramics Bond Mug in the pop up shop, in the classic Hasbean red. Really appreciate them taking on our designs.
We chatted with Dale about designs with our head of designs, Simon Stevens, and plan to do something together in the future. Hasbean pop up is all fun serving icecream apart from their merchandise and signature single origin coffee.
